My Car Check

CDL is now able to offer vehicle checking services based on DVLA data and thousands of consumers looking to buy a second hand vehicle have been protected from buying a vehicle with a hidden past thanks to the TVIC vehicle history checking service, which can be found at www.mycarcheck.com.

My Car Check is a website that allows customers to purchase a vehicle history check on their vehicle online and purchase a certificate to authenticate the information search on that car.

The check covers a stolen car check from the PNC (Police National Computer), the DVLA and the Association of British Insurers (recorded accident damage).  It checks for stolen or police interest in the vehicle, write off or accident damage, scrapped by the DVLA, plate transfers, number of former keepers, full VIN and chassis check, make and model, engine number and size, colour, if the car has been exported, the date it was first registered and if there have been any colour changes.

It also provides access to the Motor Insurance Anti-Fraud and Theft Register (MIAFTR) and Mileage information from the DVLA, the largest MOT provider in the UK, leasing and rental companies.
